Lord Chesterfield was one of the finest bucks I have ever seen. Born with a congenital illness (a hernia)---I never thought that he would make it to the ripe age of three---but he was a stellar rabbit! A tiptop lop if ever there was one. He was a 'gentle giant'---one of the most affectionate lops I have raised. His brother 'Brueghel' lives on---they quite resemble one another, except Brueghel has a little mustachio! Lord Chesterfield died this morning from complications of the hernia. He suffered a great deal but showed incredible fortitude and courage. He is very much loved and will be greatly missed at Tiptoplops (mostly by his competitor: Lowenbrau).

Well Beloved Magnus
I slept unevenly and at 5AM felt the need to go out into the kitchen. There I found Mr. Magnus, toppled over, barely breathing. He allowed me to pet him, and he breathed a little but I sensed that he was dying. I went back to sleep and hours later found him cold, rigor mortis had set in, the Black Rabbit had enrolled dear Magnus in his 'Owsla' or rabbit council. No one knows how sorely he is missed and how dearly he was loved.
