News from Tiptoplops Rabbitry: Summer 2019

It is late july, and thank God Summer of 2019 has been very fine and is going well!!

The rabbitt population is stable again---spring gave us many litters but much infant mortality. By the grace of God, there are about 6-7 "newbies" that have made it to adolescence: Jasmine, baby raisin,, Tiny Montgomery, three baby giants (with the brown Lowenbrau coat).

Having lost our patriarch Lowenbrau (flemish giant 10 yr old) and the last of his daughters "Silky" and Sally over the past couple of years...

The eldest rabbits now are three brothers: Sherpa, Jack Frost and Daisie (5-6 year old mini lops).  Sherpa is our hero rabbit---the rabbit who has shown the greatest mental aptitude----he lives in the house and spends his days without a cage patroling the herd.

The herd includes: Cowzer beloved 4-5 year old maimed, lop doe. Edith and Princess Kooky, Bertha, Cyrano, Raisin Senior,  Silvio 5-6 year old neutered buck who lives with the does many more still unnamed mature rabbits.  And there are four or five caged bucks including Cooper, Punky and the elder bucks Daisie and Jack Frost.
